Sign language training was held under the patronage of the Deaflympic Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Sign language courses took place in August and gathered together coaches of various sports subject to leagning basic communication rules and sports terminology. The main goal of those cources is to ensure communication with hearing-impaired athletes and coaching staff during physical and tactical training exercises.
