On October 28, 2024, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Deaflympia Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
According to the MOU, both organizations will cooperate in areas such as the development of the Deaflympia movement in the country, the involvement of people with hearing impairments in sports and the development of joint proposals, the implementation of meetings, projects, and educational activities.
